   april 1987 ~now, teaching mechanical design and theory in school of mechanical engineering, northwestern polytechnical university.

Education And Teaching

      he mainly engages in mechanical design & theory and mechanical design & manufacturing & automation teaching and research workand teaches mechanical theory, mechanical design, bionic robotics and synthesis and analysis of modern mechanisms.

      he hosted up to 10 national teaching projects such as national teaching base, new century online course, national excellent course, national teaching team, national key planning teaching material and so on. he wrote up to 10 text and electronic books, and supervised teams in the undergraduate mechanical creative design competitions and received up to 10 first and second prizes. he received 2 national teaching achievements and 2 provincial teaching achievements.

Scientific Research

      he is in the fields of machine theory and mechanisms, bionic mechanisms and joints, bionic robotics, mechanical transmission and system dynamics. his main research contents are: the mechanism of kangaroo hopping movements, design theory and systematic technology of kangaroo hopping robotics; design theory and methods of deformable compliant mechanisms for bionic intelligence and self-adaptive structure. active intelligent lower prosthetic knee and ankle based on the geared-five-bar-spring mechanism.

      he hosted 4 projects from national natural science foundation of china, 1 project from national “863” plan projects, and 5 projects from doctoral foundation of ministry of education of china and other provincial and ministry level projects.

Academic Achievements

he published up to 70 scientific papers, with up to 40 cited by ei and sci, and received 32 invention patents and 30 software copyrights. his research result received the first prize of science and technology advancement by dongguan city (second participant, dongguan municipal people's government, november 2013).

General Introduction

      wenjie ge is born in 1956, ph.d., he is a professor in school of mechanical engineering, northwestern polytechnical university, as well as a doctoral tutor. he is in charge of the teaching base for mechanical basic courses in northwestern polytechnical university, and is the leader of the national teaching team in the mechanical basic courses, and is the leader of the national excellent course in machine theory. he is awarded the 3rd university “national distinguished teacher”.

      he mainly engages in mechanical design & theory and mechanical design & manufacturing & automation teaching and research work. he teaches mechanical theory for the undergraduate and bionic robotics for the graduate. his research fields are mechanisms and robotics, mechanical dynamics and bionic robotics.
